About

To develop a community of lifelong learners who have a deep love for Christ and Christlike character.

For over 30 years, Base Christian School (formerly known as Koinonia Christian Academy) has been a place where lives are shaped and faith is nurtured. This school has been built on the passion, prayer, and commitment of many who believed in investing in the next generation. Over the years, we have seen the fruit of that dedication: students growing in character, faith, and purpose.

Throughout Scripture, we see how God prepared young people like Joseph, Daniel, David, Esther, and others for lives of purpose and influence. They were grounded in truth, equipped with wisdom, and set apart to lead in challenging environments, all while remaining faithful to God. In the same way, we believe children today are in a vital season of preparation. Their hearts and minds are being shaped for the future, and there is no better time to invest in their spiritual, academic, and personal growth.

At Base Christian School, we are committed to providing a loving, fun, and Christ-centered environment where students are known, nurtured, and challenged within a community of faith. God is expanding our reach, and we are seeing students join us from all over the world. There is great hope for the future when children grow up surrounded by truth, grace, and the love of God.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Base Christian School began in 1993 through the faithful vision of Koinonia Christian Fellowship, a church committed to investing in the next generation.

In 2024, Koinonia Christian Fellowship and Slate Church merged to form Base Church, uniting two communities that deeply value Christian education.

This new season brings even greater commitment to raising a generation grounded in faith and purpose.

Today, our students represent 29 different churches across the region, along with international students from different continents.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the infallible, authoritative, living Word of God; the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
